The children have continuous access to the playgroup’s secure outside area, where they can explore different activities and have access to bikes, cars and the climbing frame.

While the playground is the primary outside area for Cygnets, staff also take the children to the adventure playground and gardens of Swanage Primary School, as well as local places of interest within Swanage, such as the fire station, the ‘frog pond’ and sometimes a ride on the train.
